Concrete posts do tend to last slightly longer than timber posts (unless you use Jacksons timber posts which are guaranteed for 25 years). Some people prefer the look of timber though as concrete can look more industrial. With concrete posts we install a concrete base panel that sits underneathe the fence panel to protect it from ground contact.
